Diversity and inclusion: what it means to us
If you’ve been following us for a while, we’re sure you’ve heard us shout about our people. We’ve said it before and we’ll say it again: our team of bright, talented and motivated people from all over the world is our biggest asset. We all have different personalities, insights and mindsets that come together to achieve amazing things.
At MarketFinance, we want to empower those around us by championing diversity and inclusion in the workplace.
By building a diverse team of people to help us on our mission, we ultimately help MarketFinance grow and thrive. Diversity and inclusion inspire a culture of respect where more ideas can be voiced and we can come together to fuel our growth.
Our culture and environment at MarketFinance are critical to the success of our people. After all, we spend a lot of our time here and with one another. We work, celebrate, share ideas, eat (lots of biscuits) and are always learning together as a team.
We make sure everyone aligns with our values, culture, ideals and ways of working by including a values check in our interview process. We don’t believe in culture fit (no one wants to be boxed into somewhere) but rather values alignment and culture add.
Diversity is included in all of our processes, starting from recruitment stage by ensuring that we’re audience inclusive and don’t attract or alienate any specific demographic.
We’ve created and adapted our perks with diversity and inclusion in mind to make sure we’re accessible across the business. Our flexible working policy, for example, allows people to manage their work life around other commitments. As we grow, we’ll take every step in our power to continue developing our benefits and resources to reflect our people and their needs.
MarketFinance is an equal opportunity employer. We ensure that both applicants and employees receive unbiased treatment without discrimination on the grounds of gender, age, disability, religion, belief, sexual orientation, marital status, race or any other protected characteristic.
